Widex hearing aids, selected, fit, and verified at North Shore Hearing in Glendale.
A natural-sounding choice for people who find most hearing aids harsh or over-processed
If sound quality and naturalness matter as much as noise reduction, Widex is one of the brands we demonstrate. We fit the full lineup, so the recommendation is based on your ears and your life, not on which platform is newest.
A brand built around natural sound quality
Widex is consistently recognized for its sound quality. Patients who have found other hearing aids harsh or artificial often notice the difference within the first demonstration.
Dr. Aussem fits every major brand and verifies each fitting with Real Ear Measurement. The right brand depends on your hearing, your lifestyle, and your budget.
The most natural signal we fit
Widex's processing approach preserves more of the original signal than most competitors. The result is a sound that many patients describe as more open and less processed, particularly in quiet environments and one-on-one conversations where the character of a voice matters most.
Near-zero processing delay
Widex processes sound faster than virtually any other platform, with processing delay measured in fractions of a millisecond. That speed keeps the acoustic signal aligned with the physical world, which is especially noticeable when speaking, playing music, or listening in reflective environments.
Cloud-based fitting from the first appointment
Compass Cloud is Widex's cloud-based fitting platform, designed to give the audiologist more precise first-fit data and to support remote adjustments when a return visit is not practical. A strong first fit matters more than most patients realize, and having better tools for it reduces the number of follow-up appointments needed.
AI-powered personalization in your hands
The Widex Allure App uses real-time AI and machine learning to allow quick, meaningful adjustments without navigating a complex menu. Directional focus controls and an accessibility-optimized interface give wearers practical control over their listening experience throughout the day.
The Allure, up close
The Allure is Widex's current flagship, and the model we most often demonstrate when someone has tried other aids and found them artificial-sounding, or when music matters and a natural sound is a priority. Its near-zero processing delay keeps what you hear very close to the original source.
Like every aid we fit, it is set and verified with Real Ear Measurement and fitted using Widex's Compass Cloud platform for a more precise initial calibration. The Allure supports hands-free calling for iPhone and iOS devices, ASHA audio streaming for Android, and is LE Audio compatible for Auracast broadcast systems as that standard expands across public venues.
Built for real days
The features people actually notice once the aids are in, plainly described. No spec sheet gymnastics.
Rechargeable for full-day wear
Rechargeable for all-day wear. Charge overnight and they are ready each morning, no batteries to manage.
Hands-free calls and streaming, iOS and Android
Hands-free calling for iPhone, ASHA streaming for Android, and LE Audio compatibility for Auracast venues. The Widex Allure App handles directional focus and quick adjustments.
Natural signal with personalized fine-tuning
The Allure App uses AI for quick adjustments on the fly. Directional focus controls let you shift attention in a noisy room without manually switching programs.
Precise first fit, verified to your ear
