ReSound trains its AI specifically on sounds most listeners agree are unwanted noise, things like cafeteria babble, traffic, and airplane engines, and then reduces them carefully, preserving the background detail the brain still needs. The wearer stays in control of the listening experience rather than handing that decision entirely to the device.

The Vivia microRIE carries a dedicated AI chip inside the world's smallest hearing aid of its type. Discretion and full AI performance do not require a trade-off on this platform.
Battery
Among the longest battery life in the category
Up to 30 hours on a single charge, with a 10-minute quick charge that adds 2.7 hours of use. Bluetooth LE Audio draws less power than older wireless standards, which helps extend those numbers when streaming is involved.
Connectivity
Fully activated Auracast from day one
Vivia is one of the only hearing aids currently activated to receive Auracast broadcasts without a future firmware update. Compatible venues, theaters, places of worship, airports, can stream audio directly to the hearing aids now, not after a software release.

The Vivia microRIE is ReSound's current flagship, and the model we most often demonstrate for patients who want AI-driven noise performance in a compact form. Intelligent Focus uses the direction you are looking to prioritize the voices you want to hear, the same way you naturally turn toward someone in a conversation.
Like every aid we fit, it is set and verified with Real Ear Measurement. The Vivia microRIE is rechargeable, IP68 rated, and available in 10 color options including Navy Blue and Red. Tap controls handle calls and volume without reaching for a phone, and a CROS version is available for patients with single-sided deafness.
